When is the best time to visit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil?

I am doing a project for school and need to know when it is the best time to visit Brazil. Please someone help me out!!!!

1. The best time to visit Rio is in February, it's Carnaval!!! And you still can enjoy the beaches!!
2. the winter(june-aug) is nice the humidity is bearable and the weather is usually in the 70's or low 80's the summer (Nov-Jan) is really hot and the humidity is high temp can be in the high 80's to 104 deg. the fall(Feb-May) and Spring(Sep-Oct) are both nice temp in the 80's I would have to say prolly winter, fall, and spring Feb is very very expensive! when carnval is in brasil all the pirces for things go up!
